Time to move on...
I have penchant for traditional landscape paintings - not because I have a fondness for a particular scene or county, but because despite living in an urban environment (portsmouth, one of the most densely populated areas of the UK) I do love the countryside. There were many good jobbing artists around in the Victorian period and the early 20th century produced some marvellous landscape artists (eg. Eric Ravillious, Christopher Wood). Sadly, none of the following landscapes are signed, but I love them none-the-less. The time has come, however, to pass them on to new owners who will appreciate them just as much as I have; i have just listed them on Ebay but thought i'd share them with you before they disappear into another private collection.
